As you search for your perfect home, or a home for your clients, the best way to
learn about a home is to go there and walk around. But that can mean a lot of "going there and walking around".
Looking through a nice collection of photos can help a lot in the early stages of your search.
When we list a house, the broker will take LOTS of photos that will be used for three purposes:
1. The Multiple Listing Service will permit the posting of a limited number of photos, of a limited size.
2. Various publications, like the Register-Guard and Homeseekers, will need select photos of higher resolution for our ads.
3. And, the orginal photos, big and high resolution, are posted on this site (after tossing out the out-of-focus ones and photos of the brokers feet!)
So how do you view them?
Our listings, recent sales and currently available, are listed on two index pages. Choose which page you want, then which home you want to see.
We use a program called JAlbum to organize and package the photos, so that you can browse and select easily. Small thumbnails of all the photos appear on the left side of your screen. Click on the one you want. (you may have to scroll down a bit to see them all).
A larger version is shown on the right.
Clicking on this larger photo will give you the original photo at its maximum resolution. Most browsers will limit this to the size of your screen, but clicking AGAIN will bypass this limit. Then you can scroll around the big photo and see much more detail.
For many homes, a copy of the flyer, a tax map, a location map, or other documentation may be included. These are handled the same way, by clicking "up".
So let's give it a whirl!
You can select Current Listings or Recent Sales.
